What a lot went on, from music, authors and story writing to Readers’ Cup!
Thank you to our instrumental teacher, Mr Port, for orchestrating a piece of music to be played for our Prep students, using the book Frogs First Song as the stimulus.
We hosted two authors, Rory H. Mather and Sarah Armstrong. Year 1 and Year 2 experienced the engaging and energetic Rory H. Mather. Year 5 and Year 6 worked with Sarah Armstrong, author of Wave and Run
Years 3 and Year 4 used digital writing to create a narrative using the Story Factory in conjunction with Opera Australia.
Finally came the Readers' Cup Challenge. Years 4. 5. and 6 students have been reading in preparation for this competition since late Term 2. Students worked in teams, achieving points for their team and house.
